The Billerica Police Station stood behind the Town Hall at 15 Concord Road. The special town meeting of July 28, 1958 (Article 46) voted money for a new police station, and in 1959 the town meeting placed it "65 feet to the rear of the present Town Hall, 15 feet north from the northerly line of Blanchard Avenue." The police moved into it from the Billerica Town Hall (1895) in 1959, and an addition was built in 1976 and 1977. After the department left, the empty station was leased with the old Town Hall in 1994 to the Billerica Historic Preservation Corporation, and it was torn down about the beginning of 1998 to make room for the Billerica Public Library addition.
